Pencil Pleats
Pencil Pleats
Pencil pleat is the most common type of curtain headings. A heading tape is sewn onto the top of the curtain and the strings within the tape are pulled up to gather the curtain, creating the effect of a row of pencils. This style of heading provides a very traditional look but the curtain stack is larger as compared with other heading styles, therefore most people choose to dress these with tiebacks.
